Their song Girl Like A Bomb, from their first album, is a tribute to the novel by Autumn Christian, that tells the story of a girl who becomes a bomb, that influenced their musical style.
The plot of Autumn Christian’s book Girl Like a Bomb is as follows: Beverly Sykes is a teenage girl who feels a powerful explosion inside her when she loses her virginity. She discovers that she has a strange ability to transform herself and others through sex. She becomes obsessed with finding the meaning and purpose of her existence, and embarks on a journey of self-discovery and self-destruction. Along the way, she encounters various lovers, friends, enemies, and mentors who shape her identity and destiny. She also faces the dangers of being hunted by a mysterious organization that wants to use her power for their own agenda. She must decide whether to embrace or reject her gift, and what kind of person she wants to be.
The song features powerful drums, electric guitar solos, and gritty vocals that convey the intensity of love and transformation. The lyrics and instrumentals capture the explosive emotions and changes that occur in a romantic relationship with fierce percussion, guitar riffs, and raw vocals.
