An experimentally lengthy gothic/doom metal release from the New Year by German artist Weeping Kin, Stagnant Oceans features a slow instrumental lead-in that lasts over a minute before transitioning into the melancholic lyrical and vocal section. With some impressive instrumental moments and sitting at 9 minutes total, Stagnant Oceans is an adventure for those fans of experimental pieces and slow deliberate doom metal.
