A slow somber marching anthem filled with Norse mythological imagery, My Freya was released last month (and year!) by Nashville stoner rock band Dead Runes. A sludge-y doom metal track, My Freya boasts a killer guitar section (with a particularly impressive solo at the breakdown) and the drums are on point down to a heartbeat, a perfect instrumental backing to support some haunting vocals.
