“The music project “Piglets DDeep Forest” is the best example that dreams, which have been maturing for over 20 years, can finally come true! After so many years, the founder and composer of the band returned to the musical world: Adam “Multi” Paluch. As a young man, he played in various bands, where he recorded several songs and performed many concerts, but he never released an album with his own work. After graduation, he became a serious engineer and no longer had time for a musical adventure, but his dreams remained in his head. In 2023, the entire Space supported the creation of material for several songs, resulting in the collection of 10 songs that form a coherent whole and can be released as the first album titled “DDeep In Time.” The musical compositions evoke the Space Rock atmosphere with many melodic lines, guitars, drums, keyboards, theremin, and ukulele. However, what makes the band stand out are the educational lyrics written by Ph.D. Monika Paluch-Ferszt, a scientist from the University of Warsaw (Poland). The main character of all the songs is a “Little Energy Quark”, which, in the first album, will introduce listeners to the world of nuclear fission and the operation of nuclear power plants. Of course, in addition to knowledge presented in an accessible and entertaining way, the listener will also find several romantic ballads and songs with a strong rock accent.”
Also released earlier this month, this highly experimental track from Polish music project Piglets DDeep Forest is an atmospheric frenzy of influences and sounds. With an almost art-house approach, Nuclear Startup spans the distance between grinding rock instrumentals and ethereal vocal effects to an almost Talking Heads level of upbeat pacing. This is a project to keep your eye on, for sure!
