Heavy noise/grunge band from Los Angeles, Shrine Maiden, released this enigmatic track at the end of last month. The track, while only about 2:47 in length, is an impressive grinding collection of sounds. With a focus on the instrumentals by-the-wind sailor maintains a steady groove throughout with reverb-ing guitars, whistling vocal effects (like the wind whistles, not as in “whistle while you work”), and a slow marching percussion vibe. Well worth the brief dive!
