Estonian experimental death metal band Thunraz gives us something entirely different with this release from earlier this month. Featuring distorted vocals throughout, our favorites are the moments when the “clean” vocals are distorted, creating an effect as though they’re being heard from underwater or through a wall. It’s something new that we’ve truly never heard before. Instrumentally, You and Me shines in its use of metronomic harmonies of guitar, bass, and drums to create an overtone of sound that the vocals melt down into.
