“Based out of the hill country in Texas, FM Rodeo started in 2015 when Troy Dry(vocals/guitars) and Johnny Elrod(Drums) reconnected after a 6 year hiatus with their band Elephant Nightmare/Windup Bird Chronicle and began recording the Machine Shop sessions. Elements of grunge, punk and alternative music can be heard in their tracks, often compared to Green Day, Oasis and Nirvana.“
Released just in time for Halloween last month, this track from Texas grunge band FM Rodeo (we love a pun/play-on-words), is a throwback to a late 90’s/early 2000’s rock sound that a lot of us are really missing nowadays. Between the vocals, experimental guitar and keyboard work, and thundering drums this I Must Say would make a perfect guest performance track on a show like Buffy, back in the day. We’re definitely gonna keep a watchful eye on these guys!
