An atmospheric and dynamic track with a diversity of influences ranging from classic death metal to more industrial/electronicore elements, this track from French death metal outfit The Scalar Process is a worthwhile experiment in sound and composition. Released 3 years ago now, in November 2023, the sonic experience of Azimuth ranges from synthesizers to grinding guitar riffs and a competent percussion section, with the different layers serving to elevate the vocals as the focus. Definitely worth a listen for any fans of more experimental death metal sounds!
