With a slow, crawling Phantom of the Opera reminiscent beginning, this September 2023 release from US gothic/black metal band Chrome Waves shrieks into a metronomic blend of vocals and percussion set to a creeping base note. Maintaining its cacophonic vibe, the track transitions into a symphony of organ sounds and heavy percussion, abandoning the metronomic beginnings and expanding its sound.
