Yesterday, we covered a throwback submission from UK thrash metal band Imperium, and today we’re shifting our focus to this June 2023 release from them. The difference? Three years of global political chaos and cultural transition can do a lot to alter the human perspective and approach to creative endeavors. Iron Thunder definitely shows a higher political consciousness and awareness of the changing world. The musicality, however, is just as impressive, if not more, as before.
