A post-grunge medley of hard rock and metal, US band ProjeKT released this track just last month. The first single from their third album, Take the Low Road has an alt-metal vibe that employs glitching details, death metal inspired bridge vocals, and a personal narrative approach to songwriting. Though a bit lamenting at times, this track does a decent job of switching up the sound throughout to create a strong contrast. ProjeKT, while very underground, is an independent act that’s definitely worth your attention.
