This one is a little lighter in flavor that what we’re used to featuring, but it’s a stand-out track nonetheless. The latest release from North Carolina based hip hop artist Jiggy Tone (who we’ve featured once before), Smile features the guest talents of Florida hip hop artist Mike SB. A very upbeat and light-hearted vibe overall, this track has a sincerity and melancholy to it that is very relatable and juxtaposes the fluffy pop rap flair that it presents on the surface. Jiggy Tone proves yet again that he’s adept at presenting dynamic and versatile conscious hip hop flavors.
