It is far to infrequent that we come across a femme fronted metal band of this caliber, and it’s not because they’re not out there. It’s because the industry is engineered in favor of maleness. This track was released last month by Long Island death metal band Monochromatic Black and the shining stars of this composition are most definitely vocalist Tanya Beickert and the work of guitarist John Gribbin. Compositionally, Hail The Queen is a mash-up of different pacing, from the heart-racing to the slow and deliberate, making for a slightly chaotic effect. But impactful, nonetheless.
