“Out Comes The Storm combines 80s metal with the heavy hardcore sound of the 90s. The exciting result of this mix can be heard on their, first recorded, three song demo released in June 2009. Out comes The Storm breathes new life into the nowadays hardcore scene with their melodic, heavy guitar riffs and the variation between creating a great atmosphere in their songs and fast crushing rhymes. The band was formed in 2008 and based at the southern part of The Netherlands. Inspired by the likes of Ringworm, Metallica and Killswitch Engage. Out Comes The Storm began playing live in 2008 and has shared the stage with bands like Sworn Enemy, Blind Sight, Enemy Ground, CDC and Wasted Bullet. Unfortunately they broke up in 2010. But nevertheless will Out Comes The Storm release their three song demo (recorded in 2009) in 2022. In 2022, OCTS released a brand new single called No Despair. An older release, July 2022, from Netherlands metalcore band Out Come The Storm, this track is hopefully a taste of what the band has been promising to release this current year. Featuring a dynamic composition that leans on some classic 80’s metal components but presents with a modern sensibility, No Despair almost has a vintage/demo like quality to its editing and production. The biggest stand out in this track is definitely the guitar work, which transitions the tone of the track back and forth between heart-racing and groovingly steady.
