“The band L.O.S.T. formed in Bucharest, Romania, in March 2004, after one of the rehearsals of the band Abigail where three from the members were activating for many years (Vlad, Dragoș, George). After a short period of time, BB Hanneman, also former colleague with the other members, joined the band. With the members having a vast experience on the Romanian scene, of more than 20 years, which contained several festival awards, radio and tv appearances and 4 albums recorded with Abigail, Cronos, Dies Irae and Warganism, L.O.S.T. succeeded with its main objective, a fast impact on the underground scene, with excellent live shows and with a growing mass of devoted fans. They had shows during the years with acts like Obituary, Behemoth, Dismember, Rage, Orphaned Land, Aborted, SepticFlesh, The Haunted, Destruction, Helloween, Testament, Kreator, Sepultura, In Flames, Sodom, Hammerfall, Moonspell, Lake of Tears, Hypocrisy, Amorphis, Cannibal Corpse, Arcturus, Annihilator or Coroner. A hard and heavy, grooving addition to the death metal fold, complete with a melodic guitar breakdown, this latest release from Romanian band L.O.S.T. has an extensive featured artist section. With complex transitions and breakdowns and captivating instrumental work, the sonic depth of From Down Below really echoes the track title. Making good use of the featured artists, which can often make a track feel overcrowded, L.O.S.T. does the opposite and folds their guests in seamlessly with the dark edged lyrical content and dynamic instrumentals.
