Released just last month by Swiss progressive metal band Korrupted, this track uses a grooving edge to approach a sound that is a few parts deathcore and a little bit of metalcore. The stand out on Motor of Darkness is the pacing and composition, which features an atmospheric and ethereal instrumental as the intro before launching into a the first grinding aggressive verse. The track manages to take the listener through several well measure peaks and valleys on this sonic journey that is interlaced with several different eclectic vocal styles.
