“Traveler is a band based in Antwerp, Belgium. Their sound blurs the lines between a wide range of influences, including Post-Metal, alternative, and more. Their 2019 debut release, “Other Lives,” a 3-song EP, was a perfect introduction to the band’s formula.”
A little vocal distortion can go a very long way, but the effect of this track has a dualistic quality that offsets the heavy vocal effects. Released just last month by Belgium based band Traveler, Despair has an instrumental after that. 2:45 mark that is almost ballad-like and creates a duality in the track that makes it feel like 2 separate songs. The cohesion is so seamless though that the impact is really captivating. Well done!
