Last month’s single from “LA’s Slimiest Band” Squid Cult, this track is in fact the official FINAL last song they will ever release, and so we of course are obliged to give it the proper send up it deserves. A slow and trudging blend of doom metal and stoner rock, Who Is The President? is an eery and satirical but very serious call to accountability of the Commander in Chief himself, regardless of who that may actually be. It’s a timeless and non-specific political action track that will be just as relevant in 50 years as it is right now. A fitting send off for Squid Cult in all their grit and grime.
