A bit understated at times but impactful nonetheless, this instrumental blend of post-rock and alt-metal from Polish artist Dawid Bestry was released just last week. Described by the artist as “It’s a guitar-oriented instrumental fusion between metal, post-punk and post-rock”, Laceration is a rather straightforward and no frills in its composition, preferring to let the guitar speak for itself. Melodic and just a little riff-heavy, this track flows forth with impressive ease and delivers a strong and comprehensive instrumental piece that is both high energy and unimposing at the same time.
