“Darcy’s Fault was founded as a rock acoustic duo by Mario (guitar and vocals) and Stephanie (vocals and bass) in Schwäbisch Hall. The first songs were quickly written – to be heard on the acoustic album “High Card” (2017). However, the sound of the band has changed a lot since Heiko became part of the band in 2018. With him playing the drums we really became complete. And it’s lucky that he not only shares our vision regarding our music but also our penchant for flashy stage outfits. We like it colourful and although the common denominator is rock music, we like to be influenced by different styles. As a trio we became “Local Heroes Hessen” 2019 and stood on a big stage for the first time in the national final. The new goal was clear: conquer the festival stages of Germany! Unfortunately corona came across. So we used the years 2020/2021 in the studio for some new singles. And then our single “Low Hanging Fruits” was suddenly in Radio Bob’s newcomer stream and Steve from the Sinner Rock Festival discovered us. Rocking the Sinner Rock Acoustic Stage was a real highlight for us in 2022. This was only surpassed by the festival summer 2023, in which we played several other festivals. Highlight: the main stage at Sinner Rock 2023. We took away a lot of great experiences. Now we feel prepared for 2024!”
The latest release from Darcy’s Fault delivers a classic sound with top notch production values and impressive lyricism. With a slower and more deliberate instrumental, this track has a sense of intention that is sorely lacking on the scene at large. In particular, we’d like to praise the strength in vocalist Stephanie’s delivery of the song’s message.
