Ethereal yet heavy. Dark and atmospheric. Raw as well as distorted. Regina is an alternative metal band from Montevideo, Uruguay, that has shaken up their local scene with their intriguing sound. Redefining concepts of what a band from a small city should be like, they’ve incorporated their local roots into a big, trascendental sound like no other. Currently working on their debut album, an ambitious and conceptual work that ventures into darker, denser, more atmospheric and heavier territories.
Razor sharp and overflowing with attitude, this is the newest effort from Uruguay metal outfit Regina. Equal parts 90’s grunge, alt-metal, and punk, Would You Like Some Fries With That? is the healthy dose of irony and sarcasm we all need from such an impeccably talented crew. Of particular note is the bass guitar performance throughout, which adds the perfect backbone to the brutality of the vocal delivery.
