The Big Band of Boom is a force to be reckoned with! Featuring drums, bass, keys, 2 guitars, a full horn section of trumpets, saxophones and trombones and vocals The BOBB is all about big sound, big riffs and live music!
Formed by Tom Hyland in 2021 (Electric Swing Circus/Swingamajig Festival) and inspired by the likes of Rage Against the Machine, but nothing sounds like the Big Band of Boom. Whatever you want to call it, we are all about the live show and the BBOB brings the party!
Jazz and big band infusion can easily get a little cheesy but that is not the case with these kids! A highly refreshing blend of hard rock, punk, and metal all with a big band twist, UK based Big Band of Boom is poised to release their new album Anxiety Universe soon and Energy Vampire is the perfect single to introduce you to their innovative and highly unexpected approach to sound. With a songwriting style that hearkens back to early Panic! At The Disco in its cadence and rapid-fire delivery and System of a Down in its bravado, this track, while an overall impressive composition, also leads with fun above all else.
