Based in Bristol, UK, SCALER (fka SCALPING) are a four-piece band: Isaac Jones on drums, James Rushforth on bass guitar, Nick Berthoud on guitar and Alex Hill on electronics. For the last five years, SCAL[ER] have been writing, recording and performing music together, trying to answer the question that guides their work; “How can a band bridge the gap between live guitar music and live electronic music?” The new single “LOAM” marks a new chapter for SCALER. Having connected with one another following the release of their highly praised 2022 debut album “Void”, the band’s collaboration with Daniel Avery sees the band lean further into their club and dance-based influences. Combining adrenaline fueled rhythms with euphoric synths that ebb and flow around their heavier sensibilities.
Since its release just 2 weeks ago, this newest effort from UK industrial outfit SCALER has garnered over 6.7K views on Youtube and received substantial praise from fans. A slow burn, Broken Entry takes us on an electronic journey complete with eery details and heart-racing rhythms throughout. Accompanied by a captivating psychedelic visualizer, this track demonstrates the band’s deep attention to detail and versatility within their craft.
Definitely don’t sleep on this on!
