ded corgi is a one woman punk band based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Long time fan of punk rock and countercultural music and tired of fishy and unreliable bandmates, she decided to start a band all by herself, with her laptop as accompaniment.
This track was sent to us by comrade and solo artist ded corgi and it’s a wild DIY ride overflowing with tongue-in-cheek vibes about some realities that are all too serious about our world. Vibrant yet gritty instrumental details are the glue holding it all together as ded corgi talk sings “Red Scare!” energetically, hammering away at political points throughout. Punk was always meant to be radical and this track is a refreshing return to those roots and reminds us all what we’re capable of when we move as a collective against the destructive tyrannical death cult of capitalism.
