Wakey Wakey Rise & Shine take themselves seriously just as much as they don’t take themselves seriously. As the band name would suggest, Wakey Wakey Rise & Shine combine a goofball persona with a psychedelic sonic landscape attached with unequivocal lyricism. Their debut single – Vince – was included in track of the week columns such as Bristol in Stereo, Independent Music News and Tap The Feed. Now the 5 piece Bristol band are on the cusp of releasing their second single – Overtime. A song which rallies against the conformities of capitalism in this strange new world.

A perplexling narrative that feels like a DIY garage band scored descent into madness, Skyrats has a mesmerizing noise rock quality to it, complete with multi-layered squealing amps, monotone drumming and an otherworldly details throughout the composition.
