Brake Loose – frontman Alex Murillo, guitarist David O’Grady, bassist Juanjo Pulpeiro, and drummer Nando Alonso are four 21st-century romantics obsessed with touring and tearing up every single venue they perform. Led and formed by reckless Venezuelan singer and poet Alejandro Murillo, they play ferociously RocknRoll-Pop songs creating a live and raw energetic show like no other band.
Another brooding addition to my morning soundtrack, this is the first single of the year from Irish dark wave outfit Brake Loose. Haunting with a touch of seduction, the vocal performance and lyricism are the clear shining stars on Kiss Me Bye Bye. The romanticism of the songwriting is perfectly supported by distinctive drum work and melodic approach to composition. Stay tuned for the twist at the breakdown!
