The Rock Orchestra – Nothing Else Matters (feat. Halocene)

A band of classical musicians, breathing beautifully dark energy into legendary Rock & Metal tracks including Zombie by The Cranberries as well as epics from MotörheadSystem Of A DownMetallicaAC/DCLinkin ParkIron Maiden and more.

A fully reimagined cover of Metallica’s 1991 hit Nothing Else Matters, this track is the second release from symphonic metal outfit The Rock Orchestra. With a cadence that is reminiscent of pop icons like Celine Dion, the approach to this thrash metal staple is wholly unexpected and beautifully executed. With soaring instrumental crescendos and a deeper sense of emotional vulnerability in the performance, this is a cover that forges ahead in its own lane. The Rock Orchestra’s main focus is cover songs but I’d love to hear what they’re capable of with original songwriting some day.
