STC are a 5 piece Metalcore Band from Southern Adelaide that formed in 2022 consisting of band members from Paradise Burning, Closed Casket, Asphalt Kisses, Before Clear Skies, Within My Hands, In the Name of Deceit, Settle for Nothing.
What stood out most to me about this latest track from Australian band Storm The Crown is the approach to pacing. The roller coaster of tempo changes and attention to detail throughout the composition does a remarkable job of maintaining the listener’s fascination. From slow marching rhythms to rapid fire aggression, Riot captures a sense of controlled chaos, much like is prevalent in a riot.
