Our Escape is a Melodic Hardcore Punk band from Orlando, FL. They released their debut self-titled album in September of 2019 through Havoc Underground.
Released just under 2 weeks ago now, this is the newest effort from Florida punk entity Our Escape. Though a little heavy-handed in the metaphor department, the details on Thoughts and Prey are bountiful and impeccably layered throughout the composition. From buzzing bee sounds to the high energy guitar harmonies, there isn’t a single boring moment in the entire arrangement.
Described by the band as critiquing “the powers that fuel and profit from war, delivering pointed commentary through heavy riffs, fuzz-laden bass lines, and raw vocals”, this track is an electrifying and politically rambunctious fight song perfectly suited for our current ongoing apocalypse.
