Sybreed emerged as a pioneering force in the second wave of industrial metal bands during the early 2000s. Active from 2003 to 2013, they toured extensively across the globe, captivating audiences in Europe, the USA, Australia, China, India, and beyond. With four acclaimed albums – “Slave Design” (2004), “Antares” (2007), “The Pulse of Awakening (2009), and “God Is An Automaton” (2012) – Sybreed carved out a distinctive sound and left an indelible mark on the genre. Despite their unfortunate disbandment in September 2013, Sybreed’s music continues to resonate with a dedicated fan base, solidifying their status as a legendary band in the industrial metal scene.
A re-recording of their single Bioactive, this is the newest release from longtime independent metal scene fixture Sybreed. With over 15K views on Youtube since its release two weeks ago, this revamped take on Bioactive is high energy right out of the gate (and the visuals are just as high octane). With soaring aggressive choruses and hammering drum work, there’s a “core” of electronicore at the center of it all that adds a fresh new dimension to the composition.
