A track like this can only be made by a true lover of music, and Andrés is just that. Having cited a childhood filled with requesting tracks on radio stations to record with a cassette player, A Constant Departure shows this scholarly devotion to sound in each of its diverse layers and details. A boiling mixture of grinding guitar progressions, electrifying melodic refrains, and earth-shaking drum work, this track is a perfect display of the potential that metalcore has to offer as a sub-genre. A brilliant piece of music!
