Dirty Charlatans are a metal project based in New York. The intent is to make old school 80’s style sludge metal with release. Big drums, loud vocals, shred guitars.
The latest release from metal band Dirty Charlatans, FTS is a simplistic but energizing combination of 80’s metal, hard rock, and stoner rock. What it lacks in lyrical content, it more than makes up for in personality and commitment to sound and style. With sing-songy sections that add a necessary contrasting whimsy to the marching rhythm of percussion and guitar work, FTS has a vintage quality to it but a fresh attitude to propel it into today.
