When we last heard from UK metal outfit Reliquia, it was fresh off of the release of their visualizer for Sons of the Barren Sky. Now they’re coming in full force with their latest effort Fear of the Light, a track which they’ve been performing live for quite some time and is now a full fledged studio recording. A mournful composition that keeps true to the doom metal vibe but employing a catchy and slightly uptempo beat, this track is a perfect capturing of the band’s live presence. Mixed and mastered by Phil Petrocelli (Jesu, Great Falls), Fear of the Light is impeccably produced and is sure to be a fan favorite, mirroring the popularity of their live renditions.
