Released back in September, this track is from New York based metal band Sickbay. A grooving mix of deathcore, sludge, and doom metal, Cursed Child takes us into a diverse soundscape filled with ominous vocal samples, buzzing amps, and distinctive drum work. Steadily mid-tempo for much of the song, Sickbay isn’t afraid to switch it up on us with plunging bass guitar progressions and sustained gloomy vibes. It’s no surprise the accompanying music video for Cursed Child has over 9K views on Youtube since its release 2 months ago.
