A blast out of left field, rock artists The Airdrifters released this unexpected merging of sounds earlier this month. Self-described “psyche chamber pop”, Mirror Style is a blend of post-rock, noise, and just a little bit of dream-pop ethereal atmosphere, taking many surprising turns throughout its almost five minute runtime. Managing to keep the interest level high from the jump, this track is the stuff alternative music is made of: breaking the mold and taking big risks with sound and execution.
