Goatzilla emerged from the murky depths of the Brisbane underground scene in 2015, as the World’s only performers of “Atomic Mutant Goat Punk”. Their hybrid of Punk, Hard Rock and Metal and high-energy stage show quickly won them a solid core fanbase and appearances at many local festivals. They released their debut album “Muthafukasaurus” in 2019, which saw the single and accompanying video for “Drop Bear” get voted into the coveted #1 spot of Brisbane’s 4ZZZ FM’s Hot 100.”
This latest release from Australian band Goatzilla is a lot of fun! Though described by the band as punk and hard rock, this track has both feet very firmly planted in the world of thrash metal, and it a refreshing but classic way. With a bass-heavy but steady build of tension at the intro, Goatzilla focuses a lot of Fight To Win’s runtime to showing off just how well-rounded they are, instrumentally. If you’re into high high energy grooving rock, this is definitely for you.
