Described by the artist as “banjo driven metal music”, this is the newest effort from US based solo banjo player and singer songwriter Jacob Panic. And his self appraisal of his sound is definitely on the money – Crusher is a completely unique approach to metal that we have quite literally never encountered before. If the rest of Jacob’s body of work is as innovative and fresh as this musically aggressive and melodically ground breaking piece, then we’re in for a real treat.
