A fuzzy blend of alt-metal and industrial with a very DIY vibe, this is the opening track from US band Embers of Silence’s new album. Erratic and high energy throughout, Not Meant to Suffer reads as a protest song with the band describing it as “rallying against the mundane aspects of life”. Reminiscent of some post-rock and new wave, Embers of Silence are sure to electrify if this is any indication of what their new album has in store for their fanbase.
