The latest from Dutch punk band State Power, this track was released just shy of two weeks ago. The songwriting and vocal delivery are by far the shining stars of this track, but the devil is in the details and The Year of the Harvest comes in strong with some unexpected but classic 80’s/90’s thrash metal guitar solos. For the most part though, State Power keeps to the hallmarks of hardcore punk in pretty much every other aspect, which makes for a familiar but fresh and high energy sound.
