Released just last month by US metal solo act Ricky Camp, who we’ve featured twice before in the blog version of our Fresh Heat playlist, this track is described by the artist as the “most meaningful song” he’s debuted so far. With a slow progression that builds into a cacophonous vocal delivery and boasts a captivating grittiness, Sticks and Stones also demonstrates a strong versatility with a more melodic, almost softened chorus. Overall though, Ricky Camp’s latest effort packs an eviscerating punch in both sound and performance.
