“Chris Cachia is a Canadian music-maker and word-shaper in the tradition of those golden-age Hip Hop emcees who focus on lyricism to address social issues, tell stories, and enact the power and pleasure of language.”
The latest release from Canadian hip hop artist Chris Cachia, Good and Evil is the merely a taste of his latest EP titled The 27th Letter. Forceful in its delivery and acrobatic in its lyrical approach, Good and Evil is an ode to classic hip-hop with a boom-bap vibe that cuts through you with each bar. Unrelenting and gritty, Good and Evil features heavy bass and a string instrument sample conjure a sense of urgency while Chris Cachia knocks us out with eviscerating intellect in lines like “flow is Rachmaninoff, poppin’ off with a molotov”.
