“Andrew Wong (guitar, vocals) and Tomoharu Tamaki (drums) started playing music together in 2009. Ever since, the pair has been working on their own brand of punk rock, fusing it with elements of garage, grunge, emo and blues. The project eventually evolved into the band The Kakas, then Houseboat Supreme. After losing members of both bands to different cities, Wong and Tamaki formed Miracle Blood as a 2-piece in 2014. The band self-recorded and released several singles and EPs in the next two years. In early 2016, Garret Young joined the band on bass and they quickly released the 2-song EP “Vessels.” Their upcoming release, “Cannibals,” is their most honed, dynamic and diverse effort to date.“
The latest effort from US based post-hardcore band Miracle Blood, Phenomenon is a blockbuster of grandiose vocals and eviscerating high octane energy. With a unique blend of noise rock, punk, hardcore, and alt-metal, this track is one of the most out-of-the-box and diverse records we’ve had the pleasure of listening to. With deep bass notes punctuating throughout and a charismatic performance overall, Miracle Blood cement themselves as true stand-outs in the genre.
