The latest effort from US instrumental metal band Bane of Olympus, (who we’ve featured once before), Sky Spear was released on July 5 and has remained relatively underground so far. It’s not surprise that a band with a name like Bane of Olympus have become adept at delivering high octane cinematic metal symphonies, and this track is no exception. With soaring guitar riffs and earth-shaking drum work, Sky Spear sets the expectation at sky-high levels. From the jump the song takes us on a musical journey that is so captivating and immersive that, even though it’s 4 minutes long, you’ll be shocked that its over so quickly.
