When we last wrote about Greek metal band Caelestia, they had released yet another epic example of their unique and melodic brand of death metal. Siren is their latest endeavor, released late last month, and is part of their 4 track EP that marks a “shift to a modern death metal style with melodic and black metal elements”. Featuring legendary drummer March Reign, formerly of Morgoth and Destruction, this track is an onslaught of eviscerating classic metal staples such as rattling pounding percussion and rapid-fire guitar work. Caelestia achieves yet another impressive sub-genre bending mind-meld.
