With juxtaposing thematic farmland imagery in both the band’s name and the song title, this track from Canadian metal band Thirteen Goats is anything but wholesome. With graphic and violent themes throughout this narrative track, A Wolf in Shepherd’s Clothing delivers exactly that: a bloodthirsty beast waiting for the right moment to strike. The overall impact is pretty potent and Thirteen Goats offers up a sense of depth and strength in their sound that isn’t afraid to delve headfirst into very dark places.
