Released in October 2023, this blend of alt-rock and metal is from US fraternal band Lost in Light. Though a little fuzzy on the vocal delivery, the true stand out of this track is the guitar solo work and the overall composition. Featuring a steady narrative progression with a duo of wailing and deep chugging guitars, This Means War takes the time to really focus on instrumental excellence, allowing for vocals to take a bit more of a supporting role. The versatility of sound demonstrated in this track makes Lost in Light a real stand out amongst their peers.
