Austin Blyth – Undead Vixen

Austin is a SoCal-based singer/songwriter. His sound is a unique blend of 80s new wave, 90s rock, and 2000s emo, creating a nostalgic yet modern and fresh sound. Austin’s lyrics delve into themes of past traumas, abandonment, and unrequited love, painting a vivid picture for listeners. In his debut single, “86’d from the 35er,” Austin tells the story of his friend experiencing a manic episode while pursuing a woman who clearly does not reciprocate his feelings.

An eery and fuzzy guitar fueled piece of goth romanticism and rapid-fire alt-rock, this is the latest release from California solo artist Austin Blyth. Mixing graphic imagery with a poetic sensibility, Undead Vixen packs a lot of juice into just under four minutes. With instrumentals that range from heart-racing drums to buzzing electric details to plucky guitar moments, Austin Blyth proves with this addition to his discography that he is a true contender in the world of songwriting.
