Drexl Bowie – Men of War (feat. Secular Era)

“Drexl Bowie is a Metal artist based out of Northeast Missouri, having played guitar for Rock band Secular Era for the last decade. In addition to his role with Secular Era, Bowie has begun to write and perform his own work, diving into deep and serious subjects such as war, death, vice, and more.”

Described as a “denouncement of imperialism”, this track is yet another affirmative sign that artists are becoming more involved in left wing liberation movements and we love to see it! Longtime guitarist for the band Secular Era, this collaborative track from Drexl Bowie is part of his venture into more independent creative moves while still maintaining connection to his collective ties. A high energy but very serious and moody track, Men of War has some truly fascinating and innovative creative elements, including but not limited to the layering and juxtaposition of vocals to deliver a dynamic and multi-dimensional soundscape. The high caliber of songwriting talent from Drexl Bowie on this track is astounding and we can’t wait to hear more.
