Berlin based metal band Unverkalt is one that we’ve featured a couple of times before, but this throwback from November 2020 has a truly cinematic vibe to it that deserves some more attention. With soaring and haunting vocal deliver throughout, Solitude II exemplifies the overall feeling that 2020 brought to the world both in theme and in tone. Heavy on the guitar and drum solos, Unverkalt has woven a tapestry of sound with this track that is unrivaled in its attention to detail and emotional sincerity.
