US hard rock duo Inverted Crown released this powerful and anthemic track earlier this month and it’s an earful, that’s for sure. Between the chugging guitar, soaring vocals that go from gutteral to siren-like (the enchanting sea spirit, not the ambulance noise, and not unlike the legendary Siouxsie Sioux), and relentlessly high octane composition, On Your Cold isn’t pulling any punches. Blending elements of gothic metal, hard rock, punk, and metalcore, Inverted Crown succeeds with flying colors in both the songwriting realm and the technical execution of what is a pretty dynamic composition.
